Real planning

The plans arrived today.  Seven large sheets which seem pretty comprehensive, and a wadge of other documentation including the build guide.  The latter is fairly generic and seems to differ in details from the boat in the plans - it shows a daggerboard case not a centreboard case for instance.

I can see a couple of things I will have to grapple with.  How do I best build in buoyancy? ...and how do I best fit out the bows to be practical coming in to both a rocky shore or a beach. Some form of half.deck is needed,  but the yawl rig is supported just under the gunwhale - higher than I was thinking, but a deck lower than this is an accident waiting to happen with people stepping down across the bow
