Every journey has a beginning, though in a sense this is not it. Somewhen long ago the idea came to me that I would like to build a boat. Something about the sea.. something about the act and art of creation.
I thought about leaving work and going on a boat-building course... and chose not to, but couldn't let go of the idea - even though I already have a boat - a really rather nice International Folkboat. Ideas, like wine, mature, and this one has been getting better and changing character, so that, yes, I think it is about time the cork came off and i gave it a taste.
